WYOHOOPS / YOUR PRIVACY
PRIVACY POLICY.In plain sight.
Effective October 2, 2026. This policy explains how WyoHoops handles information through WyoHoops.com, the Player Portal, our forms, media submissions, and partnership payments. Contact info@wyohoops.com with privacy questions or requests.
Information we collect
When you contact us, request recruiting access, collaborate, or become a partner, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, organization, role, email address, phone number, notes, and uploaded files. Account and Player Portal features may collect profile details, school, graduation class, jersey number, basketball statistics, achievements, photos, film, messages, and information submitted to verify an account or statistics. Do not submit sensitive documents through general contact or media-submission forms.
We also receive technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, referring pages, pages visited, approximate location, cookies, and security or usage logs. Our site uses third-party tools for analytics, site operation, security, and social-media content.
How we use information
We use information to operate accounts and the Portal, publish basketball coverage, display profiles and statistics, respond to inquiries, review submissions, coordinate events and partnerships, connect athletes with opportunities, process billing, measure audience activity, prevent abuse, and address safety or legal requests. Recruiting exposure does not guarantee a scholarship, offer, or placement.
Profiles, submissions, and public coverage
Published profiles, statistics, photos, highlights, comments, and other public content may be visible to visitors, coaches, search engines, and people who share them. A hidden profile setting limits the areas where that profile is displayed; it is not a promise that information previously published, cached, shared, or included in another person's content disappears. Send correction, removal, or privacy requests to our email address.
Only submit content you are authorized to share, including appropriate permissions for people pictured or identified. We may edit or decline submissions. Do not include home addresses, private contact details, school identification documents, or other sensitive personal information in public posts or uploads.
Messaging and safety
Portal messages are stored as part of the service. Authorized WyoHoops administrators may access conversation participants and message content for moderation, safety, support, investigations, and service administration. Messages are not a confidential or end-to-end encrypted communication channel. Participants can also copy or share messages. Report inappropriate contact or safety concerns to info@wyohoops.com; contact emergency services for an immediate emergency.
Payments
Stripe processes partnership payments and recurring billing. Payment details are entered on Stripe's secure payment interface. WyoHoops receives information needed to manage the partnership, including customer contact details, billing details, selected plan, transaction and subscription identifiers, payment status, and limited payment-method information. Our partnership checkout does not store your full card number or card security code. Stripe, Link, and wallet providers handle information under their own policies. See Stripe's Privacy Policy and our Partnership Terms.
Service providers and sharing
Information may be handled by providers that operate our hosting, email, payment processing, analytics, security, media storage, and social-media integrations. Google analytics tools and Instagram/Meta content may receive device and usage information when those features load. External services have their own policies. Public player information can be viewed by coaches and other visitors. We may disclose information when needed to comply with law, protect people and the service, investigate abuse, or carry out a business transfer subject to applicable protections. Do not assume that information submitted to a public feature is private.
Cookies and your choices
Cookies and similar technologies support account sessions, site functionality, analytics, and third-party features. You can manage cookies in your browser and use any consent controls provided on the site. Blocking cookies may affect login or other features. Browser privacy settings do not automatically remove information already collected. You may opt out of promotional email using its unsubscribe instructions or by contacting us; necessary account, safety, and billing messages may continue.
Young athletes and parents
Our coverage includes student athletes. Users under 18 should involve a parent or guardian before opening an account, submitting personal information, or agreeing to a paid service. Children under 13 must not independently register or submit personal information. A parent or guardian seeking access for a child under 13 must contact WyoHoops first so applicable notice and verifiable-consent requirements can be addressed before collection. General website terms or a checked box alone do not establish parental consent.
Parents or guardians can contact info@wyohoops.com to ask about information associated with their child, request review or deletion, or object to further collection or publication. We may need to verify the requester's authority. If you believe information about a child was collected or published without appropriate authorization, notify us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Retention and security
We keep information as needed to operate the requested features, maintain basketball records and published coverage, administer billing, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and satisfy legal requirements. Retention depends on the information and its purpose. Deletion requests may be limited by legal obligations, other people's rights, or records needed for security and transactions; backups and third-party copies may persist for a time. We use technical and organizational safeguards, but no website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure.
Access, correction, and deletion requests
Email info@wyohoops.com to request access, corrections, deletion, or changes to profile visibility. Include enough information to locate the record, but do not email passwords, full card numbers, or identity documents unless we provide an appropriate verification method. We may verify identity and explain any limits that apply. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our features and practices change. The effective date identifies the current version. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent when applicable law requires it. Questions: info@wyohoops.com.
